So I wrote something yesterday and I have no idea where it is.  Maybe it will show up later.  I know I didn't finish it which is funny.  :)

Thus I will tell you about my weekend now.  Joshua and I watched 2 1/2 seasons of The Office this weekend.  We are catching Josh up on the show so that when it comes on again next week we'll be ready!  We were bums for sure.

On the heart surgery issue, I don't have much more news yet, but I will.  I did have a decent workout yesterday which was good.  For once!  It's been awhile since I had a good workout.  My work has the worst music ever...I just changed it twice.  ((oh yeah, I'm blogging at work))  oops.

I'm kinda bummed that my yesterday post is gone, it was way more creative than this...I can't seem to think of anything exciting.  Maybe because it's before 7am.  More later!

Wow.  I have neglected my post.  Probably do to Facebook.  But I have visions of returning to the blogging world as strong as ever.  So here it goes:

Josh has been home for a MONTH!  Well, actually 5 weeks already.  Isn't that amazing?  I can hardly believe it myself.  And I try not to think back to what it was like when he was gone cause I just get sick to my stomach remembering all the misery now compared to this!  It's really sad how you can get used to miserable.  But it's great how wonderful it feels to have your eyes re-opened to fun and hope and joy!

We took a 16 day vacation to Chicago and then to visit our adorable nephews.  That was such a blast.  I forgot what it was like to actually go somewhere with some.  And for Josh and I to have the same experiences and memories.  It's weird though, I keep getting moderately shocked when I realize how old he is now...he had two birthdays in Iraq...so that's weird.

My work was on the brink of being forced to close...but the city council voted yesterday and I still have a job.  That's awesome.

Probably the second biggest piece of news is that I'm going to be having open heart surgery again.  I don't have the exact date yet but it will be within 2 months.  That's exciting isn't it!!

I was so bored at work today that I started reading my posts from a year ago.  Maybe that is what xanag has resorted to lately.  But for the sake of YOUR entertainment I thought I would write again.

News:
*If in case you do not have Facebook, you do not know that on December 13th my sister had twins!  Ethan Joseph and Garrett Nathan Thomas.
*I'm still in the KC area, bored out of my mind....T minus 59 days.
*Christmas was fun!  We iced cookies, played pictionary, ate yummo food, played PICK, watched movies, and mainly hung out together.  Pretty fun.
*My friend Will is back from Iraq!! :)

Today I travelled my 25 miles to work at a top speed of 45.  Yeah for fresh snow and uncleared roads at 4:30am.  Always a treat.  Well, at least I'm awake!  I can't believe I've been getting up at 4am for work since last April.  I'm crazy.  This blows.  And no one else is here cause it's the week between Christmas and New Years and everyone takes work off.  So here I sit.  Alone in the gym.  ((Alone in my principles?))

We've been lounging around either here or at Ryan's parents house.  We had a great weekend with Scipp!!  :)  Shopping, waffles, a movie, football, singing round the piano, lots of fun stuff!  Martha's Christmas decor is awesome, Suzie's is as well.  So fun to be in the holiday cheer!  :)  Come out babies- you gotta see this!
